Description:

Okay, here we go, this situation is way cool.  This territory gives you a semi-private location and yet can be accessed by road.  Do you like the sound of an outboard in the morning and maybe a quad in the afternoon or perhaps the quiet of a tree stand?  Then this one may be just perfect for you and your family to indulge in.  Take a good look and give me a call with our questions.

This territory is located south of Burns Lake and is accessed either through Burns Lake or Vanderhoof (2 hour drive).  The territory itself is almost completely surrounded by Natalkuz Lake with portions on the north side of Natalkuz Lake and Intata Reach being easily accessed by vehicle.  The southern portion is only accessed by crossing the lake via private boat or barge.  Here you will find good road access to what is generally considered a remote area being difficult for resident hunters to access due to the lake crossing.  Over the years logging has taken place on the portion surrounded by the lake and Chelaslie Arm.  The outfitter uses his own barge to access the southern portion of the territory and main camp.  Guides can then hunt logging roads by vehicle.  Call Harry @ 250-717-1100 for more details.

Method of hunting is by way of 4x4, quads, boats & walking.  The territory has a myriad of old logging roads with cut blocks and lakes.  Much of the territory has rolling hills with excellent habitant for moose and black bear.  The outfitter has cut trails into many of the lakes with boats and/or stands set up providing excellent opportunities for moose which are also hunted by vehicle.

Populations of Black Bear in this territory are abundant.  Spring Bear hunting is spot and stalk using boats on the lake which affords miles and miles of beach and grassy areas.  Vehicles may also be used accessing many older logging roads and numerous cutblocks.  This is really the essence of Black Bear hunting when it comes to spot and stock and hunters have the opportunity of seeing many bears before choosing their trophy, exciting.

What a great place to come home to!  Main camp has very comfortable log/frame buildings; main lodge for guides and meals, 3 sleeping cabins that hold 2-3 hunters each, a shower house with hot and cold running water and flush toilet, shop, and wharf.  All general equipment to run the camp is included.

Natalkuz Lake has excellent fishing for Rainbow, Kokanee and Burbot while many of the smaller lakes have excellent fishing for Rainbow.

This territory offers a new owner a variety of opportunities which include using boats and 4x4 to access game that is not easily accessed by the resident hunter.  These opportunities are usually reserved for more isolated areas where cost of transportation is more expensive, such as flying.  This is a nice entry level package or could be perfect for the part-time outfitter.
