Shuswap Trapline

This trapline is located in the beautiful Shuswap.  Now if you are into cats this may be a great trapline for you.  It has good harvesting networks with approx. 200 kms of logging roads, snowmobile trails, as well as boat access with 70+ kms of Shuswap Lake frontage and encompassing all of White Lake.  The trapline is actually bordered on three sides by Shuswap Lake; really quite a neat location where recreation abounds, including great fishing and hunting.

It has a Park Use Permit in place for White Lake Park, Cinnemousun Narrows Park, and Shuswap Lake Marine Park.  It has a rustic cabin with wood stove in a prime location at the headwaters of Reinecker Creek.  Application has been made for a second cabin site, although it would need to be confirmed whether this application could transfer on to the new owner. 

The typical fur bearers can be found here, although, cats are what shine.  You can find both bobcat and lynx.  Whether this is in your backyard or you require a cabin to stay for awhile while working the line, this trapline may be a great fit.
