Monashee Trapline

This is the one you have been waiting for!  This trapline is located in the Monashee Mountains just east of Cherryville, a short 45 minute drive from Vernon.  They grow the trees big here, as well as the mountains.  Although, this trapline does have a good mix of accessible land, as well as mountains.  Marten is excellent, they love these big cedars and there is a good network of logging roads for trapping access.  Cats are good too – a nice cross-section of critters can be found on this line. 

The trapline is all set and ready to go with a beautiful, new cabin.  Completed 4 years ago and built on a 20’ flat deck trailer, it will last you for years to come.  The cabin is nicely finished with everything you need and comes furnished.  It is fully insulated with pine interior and double bunks to accommodate family or friends.  On top of this you have a beautiful wood cookstove with glass.  Just bring your snowmobiles and you are set.  Make sure you know how to handle that machine though, because the snow can be deep here! 

This trapline encompasses some spectacular recreational opportunities in addition to trapping.  Stunning Pinnacle Lake lies within this line and the fishing, hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, and 4x4ing is all top notch; an added bonus to the trapping!
