Trapline on Williston Lake
License of Occupation: 2.8 acres
This listing is a pretty interesting one. This trapline is located just north of Mackenzie BC, along Williston Lake. There is also a main camp just a few meters off of the lake, on a 2.8 acre residential License of Occupation. Not sure if you're aware, but a License of Occupation (LOO) is generally not issued in conjunction with a trapline; to even find a LOO that is issued for residential use is unusual. A LOO is a much stronger form of tenure than the usual tenure issued with a trapline, a Notation of Interest.
This trapline is large and takes in a considerable portion of Williston lakeshore with the eastern boundary being the continental divide: absolutely spectacular. Game includes the usual cast of characters with Martin, Mink, Lynx and Wolverine being some of the more sought after. The LOO site will be cleaned up prior to sale and will most likely leave only the old log cabin behind with the opportunity to build something of your own.
This is an unusual situation having the mix of the LOO and the lake, all adding to some great outdoor adventures. Call for the whole spiel.
